- In 2000, on the occasion of the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s 56th birthday, he received the National Unity Award from former Union Minister N. D. Tiwari in New Delhi.
- He was awarded the Award of Excellence by Tata Johnson Controls Automotive Ltd. for the year 2011-2012.
- He received the Best Stall Award at the SME Expo 2008 from Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, on September 21, 2008.
- For his company, Mittal Precision Steel Tubes Private Limited, located in Mhalunge, he was honored as the Eminent Industrialist of Maval Taluka.
- In 2008, he was recognized as Vice-President for his contributions to achieving the objectives of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Chamber of Industries, Commerce, Services, and Agriculture by Tax Guru Lakhotia, CNBC Awaaz, New Delhi.
- On October 27, 2012, Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan Pimpri Chinchwad Branch honored him for Best Performance in the Industrial Sector during the centenary celebration of Yashwantrao Chavan.
- In March 2014, Mr. Mittal was awarded the J.R.D. Tata Udyog Puraskar by the Maharashtra State Industrial Development Council in recognition of his contributions to industrial development, worker welfare, and excellent management practices.
